Terms & Conditions
1 . Services
The photographer agrees to provide event photography services as agreed upon in the booking confirmation.
BOOKINGS & PAYMENT
2. Deposit & Booking Confirmation
A 50% deposit is required to secure the booking. Remaining balance must be paid in full immediately after the event. No images will be delivered until full payment is received.
3. Pricing
All prices are subject to change based on circumstances such as event complexity, extended time, or custom requirements. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to the event.
4. Holiday Rates
Bookings scheduled on UK public holidays or major calendar holidays will incur a double rate fee.
5. Travel Fees
Travel outside West London will incur an additional fee, to be discussed and agreed upon during booking.
CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING & LIABILITY
6. Client Cancellations
Cancellation fees depend on when the booking was made and the time left before the event:
• 30+ days before event: Full refund
• 15–30 days: 50% refund
• Less than 15 days: No refund
• 48 hours or less: 100% of the total fee is due
7. Photographer Cancellations
If the Photographer cannot perform due to illness, severe weather, or personal emergencies, the Client will receive a full refund - Force Majeure.
8. Rescheduling
Rescheduling may be allowed under exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, natural disasters), subject to the Photographer’s availability.
9. Limitation of Liability
The photographer will take reasonable steps to ensure the delivery of quality images. In the unlikely event of technical failure, loss of files, or inability to deliver services, liability is limited to the return of all payments received.
IMAGE DELIVERY & USAGE
10. Delivery Timeline
Final edited images will be delivered within 4–6 weeks on a USB device. The Photographer will not be rushed or pressured to deliver earlier unless pre-agreed in writing.
11. Image Selection & Editing
Only edited images will be provided. RAW or unedited images will not be released under any circumstances. Editing style is at the discretion of the Photographer, in line with their brand aesthetic.
12. Copyright & Usage
All images remain the intellectual property of Maarzai Photography. Clients are granted a personal-use license only. Commercial use, resale, or publication requires written permission.
13. Portfolio Use
Photographer may use selected images for promotional purposes with written consent from the Client.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
14. Venue Access & Permits
It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the Photographer has full access to the venue and to secure any permits or approvals required for photography.
15. Timeliness
Delays in start time or access caused by the Client may impact the final output. Photographer is not liable for missed moments resulting from lack of cooperation or timely access.
16. Advisory
If there are more than 100 guests at the event, it is strongly advised to have an additional photographer present. This ensures full coverage from different angles and help capture key moments effectively.
17. Communication
Clients are responsible for clearly communicating their expectations, preferences, or special requests to the photographer prior to the event.
18. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
